Return, Refunds and Exchanges
Every saree that leaves our studio is inspected with care. We understand that shopping online requires a degree of trust, and we want you to feel completely at ease with your purchase.
7-Day Return/exchange Window
You have 7 days from the date your order is marked delivered to raise a return/exchange request. The delivery date recorded by our courier partner is what we consider the start of this window. We kindly request that you inspect your saree as soon as it arrives so we can assist you promptly within this period.
WHAT WE ACCEPT RETURN/EXCHANGE FOR
Manufacturing defects
We stand by our quality. In the rare event of a genuine manufacturing defects or any damage that occurred before or during shipping, please do reach out to us. We take full responsibility for this and will arrange a free reverse pickup and offer you a replacement or a complete refund.
To help us process this quickly, we strongly recommend a short unboxing video and a few clear photographs showing the defect, shared within 48 hours of delivery. This approach facilitates an efficient and equitable resolution, consistent with our dedicated commitment to customer service.
Change of mind
We want you to fall in love with your saree — and if you do not, we will gladly take it back. Consider this your invitation to experience the saree in person, in your own light, against your own skin. Drape it. Hold it up. Take your time. We have done our best to capture every detail the weave, the fall, the lustre — through our photographs, but we know that fabric has a feeling that no screen can fully convey.
If it is not quite the one for you, simply reach out within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange an instant full store credit valid for 1 year or full refund to your original payment method— so you can find the piece that truly speaks to you.
It is our way of saying that your trust matters more to us than a single transaction. We would much rather you find your perfect saree with us than walk away without one.
A small note: To keep things fair for everyone, returned sarees must arrive back unworn, unwashed, with all tags intact and in their original packaging.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
To ensure you always receive a pristine and unworn piece, we do not accept return/exchange in the following conditions
Not eligible Sarees that have been worn, washed, or dry-cleaned.
Not eligible Items with missing tags, altered packaging, or signs of use.
Not eligible Custom orders, personalised pieces, or sarees purchased during special sale events (clearly marked at time of purchase).Not eligible Slight colour variation due to screen display settings. We photograph every piece under natural light and note this in each product listing.
Once the 7-day window has passed, we are unfortunately unable to process return/exchange request. We encourage you to reach out to us early. Our team is always happy to help you make a decision before the window closes.
Return/exchange & Quality Assurance Policy
At Her’s, we are committed to delivering the highest standards of quality. To ensure fairness for all our customers, all return/exchange are governed by the following evaluation process:
1. Quality Inspection
Every returned product undergoes a mandatory quality inspection by our Quality Inspection team. This process verifies:
• The product is in its original packaging, unused condition with all tags intact.
• The reported defect or issue matches the condition of the received item.
• The product returned is the original item dispatched by Her’s.
2. Policy Adherence
Her’s reserves the right to decline return/exchange requests or refunds if the claim is found to be non-compliant with our established policy. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Fraudulent Claims: Return/exchange process involving counterfeit items or products not sold by Her’s.
• Self-Inflicted Damage: Damage resulting from misuse, alteration, or failure to follow care instructions.
• Missing Essentials: Return/exchange missing original packaging, accessories, or promotional freebies.
How to raise a return/exchange request
1. Email us at contact@theherstore.in or message us on WhatsApp at +917007279338 within 7 days of delivery.
2. Share your order number, reason for return/exchange, and photographs or a short video of the saree.
3. Our team will respond within 48 hours to confirm eligibility and guide you through the next steps.
4. Once the returned product is received and inspected at our facility, exchange/refunds or store credit are processed within 5-7 business days.
Cancellations
We completely understand that plans can change! We are happy to cancel your order as long as it hasn't left our warehouse yet. Because we aim for the fastest possible shipping times, once an order is marked as shipped, we are no longer able to intercept it. If your order is already on its way, please feel free to reach out to us upon delivery so we can assist you further.
Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy
At Her’s, we want to make our exquisite collections accessible to everyone across India. To accommodate all our customers, we offer Cash on Delivery (COD) as a flexible payment option.
1. COD Convenience Fee All COD orders will incur a nominal Convenience Fee of ₹150 Why this fee? Unlike digital payments, COD requires specialized courier services to handle physical cash, provide additional security during transit, and manage multiple delivery attempts. This small fee helps us cover these additional operational costs from our logistics partners.
2. Order Verification
To ensure your saree reaches you safely, all COD orders undergo a quick verification process. You may receive a verification call or a WhatsApp message from our team to confirm your shipping details before we dispatch your order.

3. Avoid the Fee: Go Prepaid!
We encourage our customers to choose Prepaid Payments for a smoother experience.

• Priority Processing: Prepaid orders are fast-tracked in our fulfilment centre for quicker dispatch.
